At BASIS Bilingual School Shenzhen, I served as a homeroom teacher, co-teaching third-grade ELA, Mathematics, and Science in a bilingual setting (English and Chinese) while fostering a supportive and motivating classroom environment for fifth-grade students. I designed personalized instructional materials and implemented gamified learning strategies, such as treasure hunting and detective games, to make lessons engaging and impactful. Utilizing technology-assisted and project-based learning approaches, I met the diverse needs of over 100 students, delivering differentiated instruction that enhanced their academic growth. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I collaborated with parents to strengthen student support and mentored new teachers by sharing best practices to promote a culture of excellence in education.
